Curtis & I have worked together for many years. As my trainer, friend & coach I wouldn't have reached my goals on or off stage. From my 2nd Regional show all the way to the Natural Nationals stage, he guided, encouraged & cheered me on.
His knowledge of nutrition & the proper training is boundless. His enthusiasm and caring guidance is bar none the best there is. Always there when you need him the most. Being able to talk me off the ledge is something I needed & he never let me down.

When I first met Curtis I was 35 yes old, under weight for my height, a cigarette smoker, definitely on the wrong diet and in search of a workout program. Curtis set me straight real quick with a program that suited my needs. He made sure I had proper form during my exercises, kept me motivated, made me "dig deep" for that last rep or two and answered any diet questions Ihappen to have.
As time progressed my body weight was on the rise, I had noticeably more energy, no workout injuries to speak of and was liking the changes I saw in the mirror. He "tweaked" my program sport specific closer to my arm wrestling tournaments as well as explained to me steps I could take outside of the gym to maximize my time in and out of the gym.
My goals when I started were to gain weight and stay lean at the same time. Curtis was always in my corner and guided me through my lifestyle change. After watching him and listening to him with some serious effort I had quit smoking and gained just under 40 lbs of solid muscle. Worth every penny.
With Cutis I reached my fitness goals, set new ones and smashed those goals way ahead of schedule. Constantly telling him that I was gaining on him every day he reminded me that if it was a marathon I was at the start and he was much closer to the finish. It made me work harder.
If Curtis didn’t live so far away from me he would be my trainer now. But when I go to workout I can thank him for all the healthy habits inside the gym to keep me safe. Outside of the gym its on the client. Be that talked about client. Be noticed because of results, effort and attendance.

Reservations prior to working together / How you helped with them
Seeing Curtis working out at the gym was impressive. Being very inferior compared to his levels of strength was certainly intimidating, however after session #1 working together that feeling was quickly put to rest. His approach was nothing short of supportive and encouraging; he was informative about exercises and proper techniques, and how they affected different parts of the body. He was very receptive to any questions and easy to talk with, all of which made me eagerly anticipating the next workout with him.
One of my ongoing challenges was motivation. Curtis certainly pushed me in a manner that was effective and positive. Even on days where I was not “feeling it” he managed to support me and get me inspired to push through.
